▽Psycho Dragon
A pirate spec pure pirate ship produced in Mars’ galaxy. Trampling patents and using galaxy-illegal tech, made for hit-and-run tactics. Hard to detect, resilient, with heavy firepower. Deceptively simple yet decent for solo survival.
Tonbo called it “an excessively excessive name” before his rewind.
▽Garden of the Shura
A hyper-dangerous area not much known even in Mars’ galaxy, with almost no trade or interaction. Almost no ships investigating have returned. Mars’ galaxy called the Millennium War “a big war”, but…the Garden of the Shura is an ultra-hazardous zone that’s barely ever not at war.
▽Resource Mining Ship
A cargo transport spacecraft made with outdated tech, just having a huge cargo bay. Models from Kawashima General Trading are called Kawashima-One.
Unarmed with no gravity manipulation or other features, to Earth it’s an impossibly high-spec, dreamy spacecraft.
[Garden of the Shura Terms]
▽Torquiiva Beast
A moderately common type of aggressive autonomous weapon in the Garden of the Shura. Encountering such weapons or space monsters isn’t too difficult there.
▽Shura
Those who chose to refine their souls by defeating others in battle. Rigorous training allows extremely powerful existence without much time. Other Shuras slaying them makes the galaxy turn.
▽Path of the Shura
An alternate dimension within the Garden containing entire civilizations of ordinary people, not just Shuras. Unconnected to normal space, the only way out is to win.
▽Apostle
Like pieces in the Shuras’ territorial game, souls given arbitrary skills and new bodies then sent to lower worlds. Some Shuras treat them like their own children.
▽Eureka-class
Small 100-meter ships with powerful artillery, forming deadly fleets when combined. Independently developed by the Kawashima Guild.
▽Chiba-class
Over 10km dimensional dive cruisers relying on ultra-powerful generators for movement and combat, based on a masterpiece carrier enhanced by the Kawashima Guild’s own designs.
The first is Chiba, second Matsudo, third Narita – all crewed by Tonbo’s children.
▽Viperfors
An elf Shura, extremely powerful, belligerent and dangerous with no allied Shuras around.
▽King Krusher
A ship Tonbo and Rodin stole from Viperfors’ forces, originally Tonbo’s flagship before being given to Rodin.
▽Kawashima Guild
The community Tonbo gathered and nurtured, downsized to what Rodin and Tonbo’s children could manage after his disappearance, having grown huge relying only on his mobile, trans-dimensional junk yard market.
The sudden disappearance of Tonbo—a massive, mobile marketplace with an enormous warehouse that could connect to anywhere, disregarding distance—might make it fair to say they still managed to hold on remarkably well despite the loss.
[Sierra’s World Terms]
▽Hair Regrowth Potion
An alchemical potion that sells high to the wealthy. Very valuable in another world for trading for precious apples. Normally used preventatively when starting to bald.
▽Tooth Growing Potion
An alchemical cure for cavities, in high demand – able to make this is considered mastering alchemy.
▽Mana Potion
An alchemical potion that has little effect alone but enhances others when mixed in. Quality varies drastically by skill. Ria’s is weak.
▽Ultira
A Shura
▽EasyHearth
An Shura
[Characters – Kawashima Family]
Kawashima Tonbo
A 20-year-old human male at the story’s start. An ordinary university student and gamer/manga fan who awoke a strange ability, picked up a space cat, and became a fledgling Adventurer (special ability user) while living alone pursuing his Tokyo dream.
Having intended an ordinary salaryman future, he’s essentially an airhead. Having left home with few friends, no girlfriend or prospects, he diligently attended university. He’ll risk his life if resolved but is too ordinary to captivate women that way.
With Mars, he started as a dungeon acquisitions vendor peddling daily goods and food at high prices, incorporating into Kawashima General Trading after quitting his pizza delivery job.
He has a junkyard skill variant letting him store virtually unlimited objects in his personal junk dimension.
Aliens called him a level 4 Adventurer but he’s unaware, lacking perspective. His goal is returning the space cat Mars to her home.
He was actually the legendary Shura King, sacrificing all his power to rewind Earth’s star system and save his hometown Chiba.
▽Mars
A space cat of the Popte tribe, actual age unclear due to different galactic/Earthyear lengths.
A Marjeeha Transport Battalion crewmember, formerly a sergeant, caught by pirates and frozen before being traded to Tonbo for some tangerine peels. Even space people don’t know as much.
Born on the Popte homeworld Popinania, his goal is returning home.
Yuri-Valak-Yuri
A Wedoson who is using artificial body, age unclear because the counting system of years is different between the galaxy and the earth.
A former galaxy-class idol captured by pirates at her peak after a betrayal, her body discarded as just a brain casing traded to Tonbo for a dragon corpse.
The eldest daughter of the military Valak Conglomerate, formerly Princess who died young. She uses feminine pronouns/nicknames. With a high-end computational brain casing, Earth’s internet environment is child’s play – she could pilot 1,000 drones while sleeping.
She cannot sleep unless she is holding Tonbo’s hand. When she stayed in Chieri’s room at Tonbo’s family home or when Tonbo stayed overnight at the company, she reportedly stayed awake all night.
She is often approached by men when she goes shopping, but having an unbeatable natural charm, she dismisses their advances without a second thought. Although she is a synthetic being, she can create children by synthesizing eggs from genetic information. However, she has remained unmarried and childless up to this point.
▽ Sierra
A homunculus created by Ethan Moore, an American sent to another world. Sierra can freely transform between an animal and a human form.
Designed for assassination, she possesses heightened senses, including a sharp sixth sense, and saves Tonbo’s life on multiple occasions. Her design makes her relentlessly pursue her targets, and she is not subject to a fixed lifespan. Her hearty appetite, however, is simply a personal quirk, not a feature of her design.
▽ Takashi Kawashima
The father of the Kawashima family and 24 years older than Tonbo. With a unique sense of humor, he gave his children eccentric names. A cat lover who also likes dogs, he enjoys anime, manga, and games. He owns a slightly run-down house in the Kanto region.
▽ Tomoko Kawashima
The mother of the Kawashima family and 22 years older than Tonbo. She doesn’t sweat the small stuff. Despite Tonbo leaving home to attend university in Tokyo, she sends care packages to support him.
▽ Chieri Kawashima
Tonbo’s younger sister, two years his junior. Chieri initially planned to attend a university in Tokyo and live with Tonbo. However, she changed her mind and decided to enroll in a local university instead.
[Characters – Adventurers]
▽ Yoshida
An adventurer who wears a plate carrier and glasses. He is serious and highly responsible. His wife works part-time at Kawashima General Trading.
▽ Kaneki
A handsome adventurer wielding two Japanese swords with golden fittings. In his 20s and very active, he possesses the [Iai] skill and acquired the [Cooking] skill through a skill orb. His party members are always women, resembling the protagonist of a harem light novel. He has incredible luck.
He joined Kawashima General Trading after hearing about their space ventures and became the face of the asteroid division’s public relations. He later rose to a managerial position and became well-known among space enthusiasts.
▽ Kyusaku Kimu
A 40-something adventurer who wears a balaclava. A former plumber, he turned to adventuring after his company went bankrupt, rallying his colleagues with water pipes and metal bats.
He has a son and a daughter. He takes a particular interest in Tonbo, who is around his son’s age. His daughter, a university student, works part-time at Kawashima General Trading and spends most of her earned points on cosmetics. She later joins the company full-time.
▽ Abukuma
A woman with dark circles under her eyes, a former member of the all-female adventurer party [Ebisu’s Hedgehog]. She has the [High-Speed Thinking] skill.
Originally a banker, she fled to Tokyo after being pressured into marriage once her skill manifested. She later became an adventurer and, after her party disbanded, was recruited by Tonbo to become a department head at Kawashima General Trading.
▽ Yumiko Yoshikawa
A bespectacled woman and former member of [Ebisu’s Hedgehog]. She suffered severe injuries during the dragon attack that led to the party’s dissolution.
She later became a manager at Kawashima General Trading, married a colleague, and is now pregnant.
▽ Iida
A plain yet beautiful woman and the former leader of [Ebisu’s Hedgehog]. As a student, she was captain of her volleyball team. After working at a publicly listed systems company and burning out from the heavy workload, she transitioned to adventuring for a more flexible pace.
She found moderate success before being recruited by Abukuma to Kawashima General Trading, where she quickly rose to a department head role. Tonbo is afraid of her.
▽ Takai
A woman with black braided hair and a former member of [Ebisu’s Hedgehog]. She now works as an employee at Kawashima General Trading.
▽ Oka
A bald-headed adventurer who carries a compound bow. He is particular about how pizza is baked.
▽ [Characters – Others]
▽ Tita Hitch
A woman from the Golden-Head Dragon Company. With her suspicious behavior, she trades the materials of Yamata no Orochi for a psycho dragon with Tonbo’s group.
Her true identity is that of Tonbo’s apostle as a Shura, a woman who had been sent to another galaxy. Rodin speculated that her behavior toward Tonbo, whom she considers her god, might have been a test of her devotion. This assumption was half correct and half mistaken. Sending targeted items into the ever-changing inventory of the junkyard of equivalent exchange is an extraordinarily difficult task, no matter how skilled or gifted abilities one might have at their disposal.
▽ Ethan Moore
An American reincarnated into Wooljira, another world, by a Shura. He dreamed of returning to Earth but never achieved it.
Ethan was a brilliant alchemist who created the homunculi series named after phonetic codes, including Sierra. The homunculi were designed to assassinate aristocrats targeting Ethan. However, after the first one, Echo, succeeded, the remaining homunculi were put into storage. Ethan died in another incident, leaving his creations to his apprentices.
▽ Leah
One of Ethan’s apprentices with trading skills. One day, Leah acquired an extraordinarily sweet red fruit. Desperate to obtain more, Leah began trading his creations and even used his master’s works to acquire more seeds.
▽ Kawashima Family’s Next Generation
▽ Momoko “Peach” Kawashima
Tonbo’s eldest daughter. She reveres Tonbo as a Shura and follows his instructions diligently. She closely resembles Tonbo’s mother and aunt and was cherished by her father.
▽ Mihari “Beaver Kawashima
Tonbo’s eldest son. He aspired to become a Shura but failed and could not succeed his father. He now manages the Kawashima Guild’s territory.
▽ Rodin
A Shura and Tonbo’s partner. Married to Tonbo’s youngest daughter, he is both a son-in-law and a pillar supporting the Kawashima Guild. He is fairly strong.

Afterword
Hello again! This is Mamizu Kishiwaka, the author.
Thank you for picking up the second volume of [The Straw Millionaire, the Cat, and the Princess ~Rise to the Top with the Space-Earth Trade Skill!? A CEO! A Hero? …A Space Pirate!?~]
In the last volume, we saw Tonbo rise from an unremarkable college student to a company CEO with the help of alien allies. This volume focused on his efforts to build a spaceship at his company. We also unraveled many of the mysteries surrounding Tonbo, bringing the story to a climactic point. However, I regret to inform you that this novel concludes here.
Initially, this story revolved around the princess rather than Mars, the cat. But writing Mars turned out to be so enjoyable that the story became more about him and Tonbo. Writing in the sci-fi genre was also a first for me, filled with challenges and fresh experiences.
This novel was serialized on a web novel platform, where I received invaluable feedback from readers. Compliments for the highlights, blunt opinions for the dull parts, and even corrections for inconsistencies. I do not believe I could have written this novel alone, and for that, I am deeply grateful.
The publication of this novel is thanks to the efforts of many people. My heartfelt thanks go to the editorial team, my editor K, and the illustrator TEDDY.
And, of course, to you, the readers. Thank you so much for reading. I hope to meet you again someday!
