I awoke with a parched throat. After drinking water, I looked around.
“Sario, wake up.”
I roused Sario, who had lost consciousness in the adjacent seat.
“Ugh, uhh…”
As Sario opened his eyes, he looked around with a bewildered expression. After a while, he seemed to recall the situation.
“What is this? My head feels strange.”
Hearing him say that, I too checked inside my head. I then realized there was a vast amount of new knowledge existing within it. It was what Zolfienne had called [General Common Sense]. Sario and I fell silent and began to confirm the knowledge that existed in our heads. It was the general common sense possessed by a Level C civilization – one that rules over hundreds of stars. For the celestial tribes, the minimum required knowledge seems to be that of a Level C civilization. The knowledge was so vast that comparing it to what an science university student on Earth knows would be like comparing a horse to a deer. Based on this knowledge, Earth’s civilization appears to be about ten thousand years behind.
“I’m hungry.”
After spending hours confirming the knowledge in my head, I became ravenously hungry. Inviting Sario, we ate. Despite having gained a great deal of knowledge to become more competent humans, we only had the lowest preserved food tubes to eat. Sad.
“Is there no way in this knowledge to produce delicious food?”
“Even if there was, without ingredients, we can’t make any.”
I sighed. Then I flushed the unappetizing food into my stomach with water. For about ten days, Sario and I did nothing but confirm the [General Common Sense] we had been granted. Sario then began examining the technical information on control brains.
Meanwhile, I began researching the [Higher Dimensional Access Method] bestowed by Zolfienne. It included knowledge on using the Bosol sensory abilities. These Bosol sensory abilities allow one to sense and manipulate the undiscovered-on-Earth Bosol particles and celestial quake energy, using them to draw in energy called celestial quake and Bosol particles from higher dimensions. Celestial quake energy is a type of higher dimensional energy with potential exceeding that of nuclear energy. Especially, the Spacetime Jump Field Generators using celestial quake energy have long been used as one type of spacecraft propulsion system.
The other gift, [Celestial Quake Drive Engineering], was the knowledge and technology to move objects using celestial quake energy. Utilizing this technology, Spacetime Jump Field Generators have been created.
Incidentally, Bosol particles are particles that react to the thoughts of intelligent lifeforms. These Bosol particles exist not in the dimension we live in, but in a different universe of higher dimensions. To access that universe, a transdimensional gate is required. The Rikagel celestial tribes call this gate the [Higher Dimensional Border Field], and the higher dimensional universe beyond it the [Nayuta Realm]. This Nayuta Realm is filled with Bosol particles and celestial quake energy, and those with Bosol sensory abilities who use them become existences akin to magic users.
I faced my own heart. Following the knowledge bestowed by Zolfienne, I raised my willpower to the ultimate limit and constructed a higher dimensional border field above my head via the spiritual cloud. If it had been before encountering Zolfienne, I absolutely could not have done this. Gritting my teeth and mustering all my willpower, the consciousness connected to my spiritual cloud reached the higher dimensional border field. I extended the hand of my consciousness toward the border field and entered the Nayuta Realm.
The Nayuta Realm struck me as dazzling. In my immature state, I only understood that it was filled with immense energy. Tremendous pressure was placed on my consciousness that had entered the Nayuta Realm. The energy and Bosol particles existing there were trying to enter my consciousness and leak out into the outside of the Nayuta Realm. Left alone, I would be crushed by the immense energy and my consciousness would vanish. When I felt that crisis, Zolfienne’s knowledge taught me how to deal with it.
I created an energy pathway [power conduit] in my consciousness like a water pipe letting water into a pool, with a serpent-like mouth [control gate] attached to adjust the flow. The power conduits and control gates were unique technologies of the Rikagel celestial tribes, considered precious techniques that almost no one outside the celestial tribes knew. Thanks to them, the pressure oppressing my mind vanished. It seems the pressure from the Nayuta Realm is handled by being taken in by the power conduits.
I close the control gate and direct my consciousness towards the Nayuta realm. It is a parallel universe brimming with an energy called Heavenly wave and Bosol particles – a world where the fundamental energy for spiritual civilizations can be obtained. While keeping the power conduit connected to the Nayuta realm, I return my consciousness to the real world.

When I open my eyes, I see Sario’s face.
“Are you okay?”
“No problem. What happened to me?”
“I got worried when you weren’t responding to my calls.”

“It’s extremely rare for the Rikagel celestial clan to teach us how to utilize Heavenly wave and the Nayuta realm. We know about it theoretically, but compared to the celestials’ knowledge, ours is like dust.”
It does seem to be a truly rare occurrence, which explains why Zorofienu was so grateful. Then Sario and I discussed how to travel to a civilized nation.
“We’ll use a small spacecraft to leave this spaceport and search for a Spacetime Jump Field Generator.”
“Maybe I should have asked the celestials to transport us to another star system instead?”
I regretted my decision a bit.
“But then we’d be stranded without this small spacecraft. Moving to another star system penniless would cause problems.”
“I guess we have no choice but to look elsewhere. Which means the issue is the monsters.”
With hardly any ammo left for the space rifle, we’d need another weapon. I asked if the 5-beam laser cannon mounted on this small craft could defeat them, but was told it could only take down small space creons.
“Can’t you use your Heavenly wave powers somehow?”
“My powers? Ah, you mean Heavenly wave. But I don’t know how to use it to drive off monsters.”
Sario nodded.
“There’s a technique called Particle Shot that expert Heavenly wave dragon slayers use. They accelerate a mass of Bosol particles using Heavenly wave to attack monsters.”
Apparently among the daring space adventurers called Dragon Slayers, there are those skilled in utilizing what seems like magic power – Heavenly wave. They are called “Heavenly wave Users” or “Mages.” I decided to go with “Mage.” The basics for a mage involve controlling Heavenly wave. From that day on, I studied “Heavenly wave Drive Engineering” while practicing Heavenly wave control.
Since the power conduit is always connected to the Nayuta realm, opening the control gate allows Bosol particles and Heavenly wave to flow into my body. But I could only control the amount that flowed in when the gate was opened 2-3 percent – about a trickle, like a faucet turned just slightly. Fully open and an immense torrent of Heavenly wave would gush into my body. The Bosol particle ratio is relatively low.
I classified the current state, where the energy was only trickling out, as [Release Level T]. The [T] stood for Trial or Three. From there, I defined the levels in increments of ten percent, ranging from [Release Level 1] to [Release Level 10]. Apparently, this method was a standard practice among the Celestials Tribe. I began training to control my Heavenly wave energy while at Release Level T. At first, I had no idea how to control it. The Bosol Particles and Heavenly wave simply leaked out of my body without restraint.
However, after one or two days in that state, something awakened within me. It was a field of awareness that extended beyond my body, like an external sensory organ resembling a phantom hand. I came to call this new sensory organ the [Consciousness Field]. I tried extending it to control the Heavenly wave, but I couldn’t manage it properly. The energy kept slipping through the Consciousness Field, spilling away. Again and again, I struggled to gather the Heavenly wave, trying to pull it back under control.
After about five days of practice, I finally grasped the trick to controlling Heavenly wave. The key was to visualize unifying my Consciousness Field with my mind. Once I fused my Consciousness Field and mind into one, I began expanding it beyond my body. I gradually extended its radius—one meter, then two meters—until I reached my limit at four meters. At Release Level T, the amount of Heavenly wave I could wield should be powerful enough to take down a Space Clione. I continued training, striving to master the free and precise control of both Heavenly wave and Bosol Particles.
Meanwhile, Sario began modifying the small craft, constructing a 5-meter battle room on the upper hull from the bow. Surrounded by a transparent high-strength dome, it feels like floating in space. Skilled mages can battle outside, but novices fight from these rooms.
