My CF Seems to be The Main Heroine Volume 2 Afterword + Extra

Afterword

Hello, long time no see. This is 3pu.

I’m happy to meet you again.

This is all thanks to everyone who purchased the first volume.

Allow me to express my gratitude here.

Thank you so much! (Seriously, I really appreciate it.)

Now, I’d like to talk a little bit about this work.

The main theme of this second volume is the changes in Saito.

This was quite challenging and tough to write, haha.

Saito is a character who is very true to his emotions. If he dislikes something, he’ll say so, and if he likes something, he’ll also say so clearly.

This is one of his good points and what draws Lily to him.

However, his purity can be quite a handful.

Saito’s “like” is undeniably the correct “like.”

However, there are different kinds of “like”—affection, friendship, romance, and so on—that Saito doesn’t categorize within himself.

As a result, Saito’s “like” is the lightest among the characters in this story.

In contrast, the “like” that characters like Lily, Koyuki, Takumi, and Haruki express is much heavier.

As Saito interacts with them, he begins to understand the meaning of the word “like” just a little bit and realizes to whom these feelings are directed.

This was a chapter where Saito matured just a tiny bit.

However, since it was just a little bit, Lily is likely to continue being at his mercy, haha.

Hang in there, Lily.

Next, I’d like to talk about the time leapers.

First, let me say this: these characters are all incredibly troublesome!

Lily is still a coward at crucial moments, just like before the time leap. Haruki is indecisive but strangely resolute in certain aspects. Koyuki is stubborn in her beliefs. They were really a handful.

As someone who relates more to Saito, I found them even more troublesome.

Their actions made the story overly complicated!

But since this is also part of the story’s charm, I worked hard to write it.

By the way, Koyuki and Takumi ended on a pretty good note, but they’re not dating yet. Koyuki isn’t the type of girl who would immediately switch her affections to Takumi just because Haruki rejected her.

She will struggle with her desire to lean on someone and her feelings of guilt, and eventually, she will find her own answer.

I hope you will also pay attention to their developments.

How many time leapers are there?

Why are they in time leaps?

Additionally, I hope you look forward to finding out how many time leapers there are and why they are time leaping.

Lastly, I want to thank Editor A and the illustrator, Bcoca.

Thank you so much for your support and for drawing such wonderful illustrations.

Thank you! (Seriously, I really appreciate it!)

I hope to work with you again if there’s a next time.

So, goodbye for now!

See you again. (Let’s definitely meet again!)

E-book Bonus: Original Short Story

[Dango Over Flowers]

“Hey, Saito, do you want to go see the cherry blossoms?”

It was one day after school had started,

while waiting on the station platform, that Lily noticed a poster for the night cherry blossoms and casually invited Saito.

“Why all of a sudden? Oh, I see.”

Saito was puzzled by the sudden invitation but quickly noticed the poster Lily was looking at.

“Now that you mention it, we haven’t gone flower viewing this year. Sure, let’s go now.”

“Wait a minute.”

Saito, suddenly motivated, started running to the opposite platform, and Lily hurriedly followed.

After a thirty-minute train ride, they arrived at a secluded mountain area.

Unlike the cherry blossoms at school, these were late bloomers, and the entire area was covered in cherry blossoms as far as the eye could see.

A gust of wind blew, lifting the petals into a beautiful flurry.

“Wow, it’s so beautiful.”

“Fofuana.”

While Lily was captivated by the enchanting sight, Saito was busy munching on skewered meat from a food stall.

“Seriously, Saito, you’re always more about the food than the flowers.”

Even though he had been as amazed by the cherry blossoms as she was when they first arrived, now he was completely engrossed in eating. Lily sighed in exasperation.

But Saito, unfazed, retorted, “What’s wrong with that? Flower viewing is all about enjoying good food, right? It’s only natural to eat.”

“Well, you’re not wrong.”

While he wasn’t incorrect,

Lily felt that they could appreciate the scenery a bit more, especially since they had come all this way.

“Come on, don’t make that face. Try some, Lily. It’s really good.”

Seeing her dissatisfied expression,

Saito offered her the skewer he was eating.

“…Okay. Wow, it’s really good.”

After a moment’s hesitation, Lily bit into the skewer and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious flavor.

“Right? There are lots of different kinds. Let’s try them all.”

“Yeah. What other kinds of meat are there?”

“Let’s see. There’s tongue, chicken, pork belly, and a bunch of others.”

In the end, Lily also became a fan of the skewered meat, and the two spent their time walking around and eating, almost forgetting about the cherry blossoms.
