First of all, thank you for picking up the second volume.
Thanks to all of you, I was able to release the second volume safely.
Since there was a little gap in the release time between the first and second volumes, I’m really touched to be able to greet you like this again.
In the first volume, was more off a comedic story focusing on the encounter with Sara, but in the second volume, the focus shifted to Yuna’s relationship.
In short, the first volume was Sara’s story, and the second volume was Yuna’s story.
Personally, I really like heroines who work hard at sports while sweating, so I’m glad if you readers feel a little heated in your hearts.
Especially the basketball practice matches were tough to write while worrying, so if you can feel the effort and coolness, I’m overjoyed.
What will happen to the relationship between Yuna and Haruya in the future?
I’ve been working hard on writing with that in mind, so I’d be happy if you’re curious about the continuation.
To be honest, this second volume was a struggle to write (laughs).
A completely new story development that was unrelated to the web version, unfamiliar sports (basketball) descriptions that I didn’t even write about, and extensive revision work due to my own lack of ability.
Originally, there was a vague plan for the story to be like this from the time of writing the first volume, but actually putting it into words was very difficult.
I’m relieved that it somehow took shape and was able to be released…
As you can see from the basketball descriptions, the character settings have undergone a transformation compared to the web version, so it might have been a shocking content for readers who have been supporting this work since the web version.
However, regardless of whether it’s the web version or not, I’m writing with all my “likes” stuffed into it, so I hope you enjoyed it.
Now, a little bit of Haruya’s past was revealed in this story.
I didn’t reveal it at all in the first volume, but in the second volume, I dealt with the club activities, so I decided to touch on Haruya’s past a little.
I want to gradually reveal the whole picture over time.
Therefore, the story has just begun.

Also, if the number of Yuna fans increased even a little with this story, I would be really happy as the author.
She was already the most popular heroine from the web version, but this time, it was even more difficult to write, so I feel that way even more.

I’m always thinking about it in the back of my mind.
My head is completely in romantic comedy mode (laughs).
Oh, if it’s about my preferences, it would be a cheerful and energetic girl who eats a lot of food.

Which heroine’s story will be next… Well, it’s vulgar to talk too much, so I won’t touch on that (laughs)

[Two Vampires and Haruya Akasaki]
When you hear the word “cosplay,” what comes to mind?
Most likely, it’s dressing up as characters from your favorite anime or manga.
(At least, that’s how it is for me. It’s definitely not vampires I think of. Also, this is by no means a statement of my preferences)
Although it’s not yet Halloween season, on October 31st this year, as usual, you’ll probably see lots of popular character cosplays from ongoing series at the station.
“Akasaki-san… …… Can I drink your blood? “
That’s why I want to say this:
(Himekawa-san… What kind of cosplay is that?)
Haruya couldn’t hide his confusion as he stood before the beautiful girl – Sara Himekawa.
Pointed teeth, a long black robe, and a cat-eared headband.
Regarding the last accessory, it didn’t quite fit the vampire image, but there was a vampire in front of Haruya.
This place is the rooftop of High School.
It’s a place where Haruya secretly interacts with Sara, but today is Saturday, and school is closed.
In the midst of this, Haruya was suddenly summoned to the rooftop by Sara.
The purpose was kept secret until he arrived on the rooftop, and to his surprise, there was Sara dressed as a vampire. It’s no wonder Haruya was confused.
Meeting for the first time, and she’s already dressed as a vampire.
The first thing she said was, “Can I drink your blood?”
“Himekawa-san… what is this all about?”
“Come on, Akasaki-san. You’re no fun.”
Sara raised her index finger and leaned forward eagerly.
“That’s why I said so.”
“This is a vampire costume. That’s why I asked if I could have a share of the blood.”
“Yeah, I get that it’s a vampire cosplay, but…”
“Is that so?! Did my acting convey that? That’s good.”
Sara’s eyes sparkled.
“Even if you say that…”
“I see. Sorry… I guess I didn’t explain it. Let me briefly explain.”
Then Sara cleared her throat and started talking.
To summarize, it seems that they decided to have a cosplay competition among friends, and Haruya was forced to accompany them for practice.
It didn’t seem to be for school events or because Halloween was approaching.
“Based on our conclusion that evaluations from boys would be the most important, I called you here. Thank you for coming all the way.”
“Well, I had nothing else to do today, so it’s fine. Do girls usually play dress-up like this?”
Haruya tilted his head in surprise.
Sara nodded on the spot before continuing.
“Well, it’s just for fun… This time is special, though.”
Sara fidgeted with her body as she glanced around.
She asked Haruya timidly several times,
her eyes seeming to moisten.
“Um… …… Will you let me suck your blood? “
“…”
Sara innocently showed her sharp white teeth.
Haruya’s heart unconsciously raced.
It was because Sara’s expression and gestures seemed bewitching and seductive.
Although Sara wasn’t deliberately acting this way, there was a reason she was making such advances towards Haruya.
